Portfolio Manager at Cordros Capital Limited

Cordros Capital Limited is seeking a Portfolio Manager to manage investment portfolios for clients. The role is based in Lagos, Nigeria. The Portfolio Manager will analyze market trends, develop and implement investment strategies, and ensure client portfolios align with financial goals and risk tolerance. The Portfolio Manager reports to the Group Managing Director.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating and managing investment portfolios based on financial objectives and risk profiles.
• Conducting market research to inform investment decisions.
• Monitoring portfolio performance and adjusting as necessary.
• Communicating with clients to understand goals and provide updates.
• Working with financial analysts to assess potential investments.
• Ensuring risk levels are managed within agreed parameters.
• Preparing regular reports on activities.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• CFA or other relevant certifications are highly valued
• Minimum of 5 years in portfolio management or a related field.
• Experience in managing diverse portfolios.
• Track record of developing and implementing investment strategies.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, risk management, and investment strategies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
