Cordros Insurance Brokers Limited is seeking a Business Development, Retail Sales strategist to steer the company towards profitability and implement its vision. The role is based in Lagos, Nigeria.Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing marketing activities.
- Providing strategic advice to management and the board.
- Developing and implementing business strategies.
- Maintaining relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Overseeing investments and ensuring compliance.
- Delegating responsibilities and supervising executives.
- Developing research and development programs.
- Preparing and monitoring the annual budget.
- Representing the company in negotiations.
- Driving sales activities to achieve financial targets.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in insurance, Actuarial Science, marketing, or a relevant field.
- Membership with the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) & NCRIB.
- MBA or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the insurance industry or insurance broking firms.
- Knowledge of corporate governance and best management practices.
- Ability to develop strategic and business plans.
