Bosa Properties is seeking an Energy Manager for a one-year contract. The Energy Manager will spearhead Bosa Properties’ energy management initiatives, focusing on enhancing building efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
Role involves:
- Developing Bosa Properties Strategic Energy Management Plan (SEMP).
- Conducting energy studies and audits.
- Submitting quarterly assessments to utility partners and executives.
- Supporting environmental sustainability actions and GHG reporting.
- Monitoring and analyzing data with GHG management software.
- Educating stakeholders on the Energy Management Plan.
- Acting as a technical resource for energy consumption inquiries.
- Supporting retrofit projects for energy efficiency.
- Securing government and utility incentives.
Requirements:
- Master’s designation or relevant registration/certification (P.Eng, RET, BCEM, MEL, PEAK, Certified Journeyman Electrician, or CIET CEM).
- Three (3) years of experience in sustainability and/or energy efficiency.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Knowledge of energy-efficient solutions.
- Experience in financial analysis and budget management.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to develop business cases and write reports.
- Hands-on experience with Energy Star Portfolio Manager and Microsoft Excel.
