The National Football League (NFL) is seeking a Head of NFL Academy to lead the overall management of the program, ensuring all objectives are met and student-athletes are best supported. This role will be based in Loughborough. The Head of the NFL Academy will serve as a liaison between the League and the academic provider, sports performance partner, coaching staff, vendors, and other sports organizations. He/She will lead the NFL Academy Steering Committee and ensure the implementation of football program development plans.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivery on KPIs in accordance with the Academy’s mission
  • Ensuring implementation of football program development, competition & recruitment plans
  • Supporting students to ensure opportunities in education, life skills & football development
  • Developing opportunities for innovation within the Academy
  • Overseeing NFL Academy coaching & performance staff

Requirements include:

  • Experience working in American football (preferably NFL or College football)
  • Understanding of education pathways (particularly the NCAA)
  • Track record of complex project management delivery
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders
  • Team leadership experience
